Business Systems / ERP Implementation Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Systems / ERP Implementation Engineer to help design, implement and manage internal systems across manufacturing, inventory, procurement, service, customer assets and operations.
This role sits at the intersection of software, operations, manufacturing and business process. You do not necessarily need to build everything from scratch, but you should be able to understand workflows, configure tools, integrate systems and ensure that data flows cleanly across the company.
The role will work closely with engineering, production, finance, operations, GCS/cloud and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand SUIND’s workflows across production, inventory, procurement, service, finance and deployed fleet management.
- Help select, configure and implement ERP/MRP/CRM/internal tools.
- Build or configure systems for BOM tracking, inventory, purchase orders and production workflows.
- Create digital workflows for serial number tracking, customer asset records, service history and warranty records.
- Work with production and QA teams to digitise checklists, acceptance tests and batch records.
- Work with finance to ensure inventory and procurement data is clean and usable.
- Work with GCS/cloud teams to explore integration between deployed drone data and internal systems.
- Create dashboards for production, inventory, service, support and business operations.
- Train internal users and ensure process adoption.
- Maintain data hygiene and system documentation.
- Identify manual spreadsheet-heavy processes and convert them into scalable systems.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in ERP implementation, business systems, internal tools, operations software, manufacturing systems or software implementation.
- Understanding of business processes such as inventory, procurement, production, service, CRM or finance workflows.
- Ability to configure and work with tools such as Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext, Tally integrations, Retool, Appsmith, Airtable, Notion databases or similar systems.
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs and system integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and process-mapping skills.
- Ability to work with non-technical users and convert their needs into usable systems.
- Strong documentation and training ability.
Good to Have
- Experience in a manufacturing, hardware, robotics, drone, EV or electronics company.
- Experience with BOMs, serial number tracking, MRP, production planning or warranty/service systems.
- Ability to write scripts or build lightweight internal tools.
- Experience with dashboards, analytics or BI tools.
- Understanding of cloud systems, fleet systems or IoT device management.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
You will succeed if you enjoy turning operational chaos into clean systems. This role is ideal for someone who can talk to a production technician, a finance manager, a software engineer and a founder — and then build a system that actually works for all of them.
Why Join SUIND?
At SUIND, you will work on technology that leaves the lab and operates in the real world.
Our drones are designed for environments that are complex, messy and high-value — farms, plantations, infrastructure sites, industrial assets, remote areas, security-sensitive zones and other places where reliable autonomous aerial systems can make a meaningful difference.
You will be part of a team building core autonomy, aerial robotics, embedded systems, field operations, manufacturing capability and commercial platforms from India for global-scale markets. The work is hard, interdisciplinary and deeply hands-on — but it is also meaningful.
