Finance & MIS Associate / Assistant Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Finance & MIS Associate / Assistant Manager to work closely with our Head of Finance.
The role will support accounting, compliance, MIS, audits, vendor payments, receivables, inventory tracking, documentation and business reporting. This is a good opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants to work closely with leadership in a fast-growing deep-tech company.
You should be detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and documentation, and willing to build systems rather than only maintain existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Assist in vendor invoice processing, payment documentation and expense tracking.
- Support GST, TDS, payroll and statutory compliance preparation.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and accounting entries.
- Support monthly MIS preparation and budget-versus-actual tracking.
- Maintain trackers for receivables, payables, purchase orders and collections.
- Coordinate with operations and manufacturing teams for inventory and production-related finance records.
- Support audit schedules, due diligence data, investor reporting and documentation.
- Help maintain financial records in Tally, Zoho, ERP or other company systems.
- Assist in preparing cash-flow reports, department-wise expense reports and working capital dashboards.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, auditors and internal teams for finance-related documentation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, MIS or business finance.
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, MBA Finance or equivalent background.
- Good understanding of accounting basics.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, invoices, reconciliations and financial documentation.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Good attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Ability to follow up across teams and close pending items.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.
Good to Have
- Experience in a startup, manufacturing, hardware, drone, robotics or technology company.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, ERPNext, Odoo or similar systems.
- Exposure to inventory accounting or project-based cost tracking.
- Experience supporting audits, due diligence or investor MIS.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
You will do well if you are accurate, organised and curious about how business numbers connect with real operations. This is not just a bookkeeping role. You will help build the finance systems that support SUIND's next stage of growth.
Why Join SUIND?
At SUIND, you will work on technology that leaves the lab and operates in the real world.
Our drones are designed for environments that are complex, messy and high-value — farms, plantations, infrastructure sites, industrial assets, remote areas, security-sensitive zones and other places where reliable autonomous aerial systems can make a meaningful difference.
You will be part of a team building core autonomy, aerial robotics, embedded systems, field operations, manufacturing capability and commercial platforms from India for global-scale markets. The work is hard, interdisciplinary and deeply hands-on — but it is also meaningful.
