Founder's Office – Strategy & Business Operations

📍 Bengaluru
⏱ Experience: 2–5 years
↳ Reports to: CEO

About the Role

We are looking for a high-ownership person to join the Founder's Office – Strategy & Business Operations team. This role will work directly with the CEO and support key strategic, operational and cross-functional initiatives across the company.

This is a generalist role, but not a passive coordination role. You will help convert founder-level priorities into structured execution across business development, operations, manufacturing, finance, investor communication, partnerships and internal reviews.

You should be comfortable moving between a financial model, a sales dashboard, a customer proposal, a production tracker and a strategic memo — sometimes in the same week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CEO on strategic projects, business planning and execution tracking.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for revenue, sales pipeline, operations, hiring, production and cash-flow tracking.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across sales, operations, manufacturing, engineering, finance and marketing.
  • Support investor MIS, board updates, internal review documents and strategic presentations.
  • Help track company goals, department-wise priorities, timelines and accountability.
  • Support fundraising, debt, grant, government and strategic partnership documentation when required.
  • Conduct market, customer, competitor and sector research for new business opportunities.
  • Help structure new business models, pricing models, cluster expansion plans and partner strategies.
  • Follow up with internal teams to ensure execution does not get stuck between functions.
  • Prepare high-quality written notes, summaries, presentations and decision documents.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a startup, consulting, venture-backed company, business operations, strategy, product or founder's office role.
  • Strong structured thinking and ability to break ambiguous problems into clear action plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, financial models, dashboards and presentations.
  • Ability to work with technical, commercial and operational teams.
  • High ownership and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Engineering, technical or analytical academic background preferred. MBA useful but not mandatory.

Good to Have

  • Experience in hardware, robotics, drones, manufacturing, deep-tech or B2B startups.
  • Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership.
  • Understanding of investor reporting, business planning or fundraising processes.
  • Ability to build simple operating dashboards and MIS systems.

Who Will Succeed in This Role

You will do well if you are curious, sharp, structured and execution-oriented. You should enjoy solving messy business problems and be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where the answer is not always obvious. This role is ideal for someone who wants a front-row seat in building a deep-tech company from product validation to commercial scale.

Why Join SUIND?

At SUIND, you will work on technology that leaves the lab and operates in the real world.

Our drones are designed for environments that are complex, messy and high-value — farms, plantations, infrastructure sites, industrial assets, remote areas, security-sensitive zones and other places where reliable autonomous aerial systems can make a meaningful difference.

You will be part of a team building core autonomy, aerial robotics, embedded systems, field operations, manufacturing capability and commercial platforms from India for global-scale markets. The work is hard, interdisciplinary and deeply hands-on — but it is also meaningful.
