Video Editor
About the Role
SUIND builds autonomous aerial systems for complex, near-earth environments, where drones need to sense and navigate close to the ground. We started in agriculture with Bumblebee, our spraying drone used in orchards, sugarcane, banana and rubber plantations, and we are expanding into inspection and industrial monitoring with WASP.
We are looking for a Video Editor who is also comfortable designing. You will turn raw field footage into finished video, and you will design the marketing materials that go with it. You will work with material shot on farms, plantations and at deployment sites in Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka, including drone footage, outdoor audio and interviews with farmers in regional languages. You will cut it into short-form video for LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, and design the brochures, flyers, social creatives and presentations that support our sales and marketing.
This is a post-production and design role. You will not be shooting or presenting. Your job is everything that happens after the footage comes back, plus the visual design of our marketing materials. Freshers are welcome. We care more about what you can create than how long you have been doing it.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other channels.
- Work through raw field footage: selects, sync, assembly and final cut.
- Colour correction, audio cleanup, music and sound.
- Titles, subtitles, captions and simple motion graphics.
- Create versions of the same piece for different platforms and aspect ratios.
- Design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, product sheets, case studies and sales collateral.
- Design social media creatives, thumbnails, banners and carousels.
- Design and format presentations and pitch decks for customers, partners, dealers and investors.
- Work with the content and sales teams to turn their briefs into clear, well-designed material.
- Keep a consistent visual and editing style across everything we publish.
- Organise and maintain the footage library, design files and project files.
Requirements
- 0–1.5 years of video editing and design experience. College projects, freelance work and your own channel all count.
- A showreel or portfolio that shows both videos you have edited and designs you have created yourself.
- Working knowledge of at least one video editor: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
- Working knowledge of at least one design tool: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or Canva.
- A feel for pacing in video and for layout, spacing and typography in design.
- Willingness to work in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator, our main tools, if you don't already use them.
- Comfort working on Windows. We provide a Windows laptop with Adobe Creative Suite.
Good to Have
- After Effects or other motion graphics experience.
- Colour grading beyond basic correction.
- Cleaning up audio recorded outdoors.
- Subtitling or designing in Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi or other regional languages.
- Experience designing brochures, case studies, pitch decks or other sales collateral.
- An understanding of what performs on Instagram and YouTube.
How You Will Work
You will report to the content head and work day to day with the content creator, who shoots and presents on location, and with the sales and operations teams, who need materials for customers and partners. Footage is shot by the content team, and you own everything from selects to final delivery, as well as the design of the marketing materials.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
You will succeed if you have a sharp eye for pacing, layout and detail, enjoy turning raw footage and rough briefs into clear and polished work, and are curious about the technology and the people in front of the camera. We are looking for someone who can make SUIND's work understandable and exciting, both through real stories from the field and through well-designed materials.
Why Join SUIND?
At SUIND, you will work on technology that leaves the lab and operates in the real world.
Our drones are designed for environments that are complex, messy and high-value: farms, plantations, infrastructure sites, industrial assets, remote areas and other places where reliable autonomous aerial systems can make a meaningful difference.
You will be part of a team building autonomy, aerial robotics, embedded systems, field operations and commercial platforms from India. The work is hard, interdisciplinary and deeply hands-on, but it is also meaningful.
Logistics
- Full-time, on-site in Bengaluru.
- Five working days, Monday to Friday.
