SUIND completed another successful pilot with AGRIM-X, this time on a Banana Plantation and we want to share what we learned.
Creation of Nanometer-Sized Particles
The interaction between the spray atomizer and AGRIM-X’s downwash leads to the formation of nanometer-sized particles. These particles, when combined with the airflow vortices created at the plant level, achieve an even coating on all surfaces of the leaves, including their undersides. This uniform coating facilitates optimal nutrient absorption and enhances pest control efficacy. It ensures each plant receives the necessary treatment, contributing to improved plant health and yield, while minimizing waste and environmental impact.
Adaptability through Visual AI Navigation
AGRIM-X employs a Visual AI Navigation System, enabling adaptability to various crops and terrains. This system allows the drone to maintain a consistent distance from the crops, irrespective of their density and the landscape’s unevenness, by adjusting its flight path in real-time based on visual input. This real-time adaptability is crucial for ensuring comprehensive crop care, fostering uniform growth, and protection across different agricultural scenarios. It symbolizes a stride towards precision and efficiency in addressing diverse agricultural needs, promoting healthier and more resilient crops.
